Features of Formthotics

3D Milled
Formthotics use a unique manufacturing process where the foam is 3D milled from a block, not compressed or injection moulded like many other foam orthotics. This ensures an even density across the orthotic.
Thermoformable
Thermoforming optimises the performance of Formthotics orthotics, creating a close, personalised fit between the foot and footwear. The approach means each product is custom moulded to your patients’ feet. Frequent readjustments may be needed as your patient’s pathology changes.
Heel Cup
The heel cup is designed for a variety of shoes to provide support and comfort, with ability for further posting and additions. The deep heel seat shape supports the posture of the foot and the somatosensory system, which feeds information from the cutaneous receptors under the foot, back to the body, to help the overall kinetic chain.
Arch Support
The contoured arch is designed for increased support and comfort under the medial longitudinal arch.

How long does shipping take?
We ship every day. Most orders are sent the day we get them. However, we are at the mercy of Australia Post or the different couriers that we use after that. This can vary from a few days up to a week or so and obviously more during the festive season. We do try our best to get them to you as quickly as possible.

The different type of Formthotics confuses me. What should I do?

We only stock the range of Formthotics that are available to consumers (Formthotics Everyday Workfit – orange/black and Formthotics Sport Run dual – turquoise/black). Other types of Formthotics are only available to health professionals to use.

The top comfort layer provides cushioning and the black base provides support, placing your foot in a natural position so that your feet are less fatigued.

Formthotics Sport Run dual – turquoise/black

The Formthotics Run Sport Dual provides both cushioning and control with a double Formax foam layer. They enable you to challenge a faster run pace for longer by placing feet in the best naturally supported and most comfortable position possible. They provide feet with a greater connection to the ground, enhancing the awareness of your terrain. There is increased shock absorbency and more even distribution of body weight across the feet’s surfaces,reduces stress on feet pressure points, ankles and knees. The feet are in a natural posture, reducing muscle fatigue and risk of injury.
